In accordance with Wasatch Peaks Credit Union Bylaws, there are four (4) seats on the Board of Directors to be filled. The following directors will have their terms expire in March 2025: Ross Moore, Cindi Hellewell, Randy Rounds, and Todd Skeen. The guidelines for nominations follow:
- Must be a member of the Credit Union in good standing for a minimum of one year prior to election.
- Must have no record of late payments within one year before election. Must have not caused a loss to Wasatch Peaks Credit Union.
- Must be of legal age (18 years or older).
- Must authorize criminal background check and credit check.
- Must provide qualifications for publishing.
- Must be free of any conflicts of interest.
- Must not be a current employee, or former employee within 2 years of election. Must be re-hirable by Wasatch Peaks Credit Union.
- Must not be an immediate family member of a director, officer, or staff member of the Credit Union.
- Must be available and on call for all Board, committee and other designated meetings, unless excused.
- All applicants, including incumbents, must complete an Application for Nomination form and submit it to the Nominations Committee prior to the deadline established by the Committee. Nominations will not be accepted from the floor at the Annual Meeting.
All members seeking to be nominated for a Board position are required to complete a Nomination Application Form and submit it, along with a résumé and color photo, to the attention of the Nominating Committee no later than December 20, 2024. The application is available to download at wasatchpeaks.com. The Nomination Committee will file its nominations with the Secretary of the Credit Union by December 20, 2024. Nominations for vacancies may also be made by petition signed by one (1) percent of the Credit Union members, which currently equals 311 members. The petition must be filed with the Secretary by February 8, 2025. Wasatch Peaks members may only vote in person at the annual meeting held at the Corporate Branch on Thursday, March 20, 2025.
