For most of us, 2020 was a year that we won’t forget anytime soon. We faced a worldwide pandemic that brought new challenges for communities and individuals. All of us at Wasatch Peaks are grateful for the trust of our members through the good and the challenging times over the past 90 years, along with the opportunities we have had to serve our community.
One of our core values is community, as we recognize that our service makes our culture more vibrant and our credit union stronger. We closed out 2020 with our Warm the Soles campaign, an opportunity for our members, employees, and businesses to give back to our local community. With your help, we have experienced record-breaking donations year-over-year with this program. This year we reached a new donation record of $38,939 and had the opportunity to provide 1,960 pairs of shoes to children from 13 of our local elementary schools!
I want to express my gratitude to our members for their generosity, particularly during a year that has been so difficult for many. I am also grateful for the time and donations made by our employees who work hard to ensure this program runs smoothly.
