Many students at Ogden-Weber Technical College face financial barriers even after completing their coursework, as the costs associated with certification exams and licensing fees can be a significant obstacle to launching their careers. Without financial assistance, some graduates may delay or forgo taking these critical exams, limiting their job prospects and undermining the value of their education. Recognizing this gap, the Ogden-Weber Technical College Foundation provides funding specifically for certification and licensing fees. The $12,500 grant award will support Ogden-Weber Technical College students in obtaining their professional credentials and enter the workforce with the qualifications needed to succeed.
